What is gas-station?
gas-station is an HTML5 management sim where a roadside fuel stop is your business to grow—or bankrupt. Click waiting vehicles to fuel them, juggle three fuel types, hire attendants, and expand with a convenience store, car wash, and milk tea shop.
How to play gas-station
1. Click cars to start fueling
Click a queued vehicle to fuel it. If you're checking which end is the front, look for the headlights.
2. Keep all three tanks stocked
Use the restock control to buy fuel according to the free space in your three storage tanks. Fuel purchases are charged per liter.
3. Put money into upgrades
Open the upgrade shop for pump speed, marketing, storage capacity, attendants, and the three side businesses. Hired attendants automatically call up vehicles and fuel them, while also helping at shops along the way.
4. Catch the wrong fuel
Fueling mistakes can happen: click the affected vehicle before its progress bar finishes to correct one. Miss it and you'll owe twice the fuel charge and lose 5 satisfaction points.
5. Respond to event pop-ups
Watch the top of the screen for random business events. You have 16 seconds to decide before the default outcome takes over.
6. Check the numbers or take a break
Use the statistics control to view business data and export local statistics. Separate controls let you pause, toggle music, and toggle sound effects.
Keep the station out of trouble
Catch mistakes before they cost you
An uncorrected wrong-fuel mistake costs twice the fuel charge and 5 satisfaction points.
💡Click the affected car before its progress bar finishes.
Don't ignore the top of the screen
Random event pop-ups resolve through their default branch if you leave them unanswered for 16 seconds.
💡Read each event and make your choice before the timer runs out.
Protect your fuel budget
Running out of fuel with no money to buy more triggers bankruptcy and automatically clears your save.
💡Check your fuel supply and restocking funds before spending on upgrades.
No installation, just station duty
gas-station runs straight in your browser as an HTML5 game, with no installation needed. Open the game and get that fuel queue moving.
Questions before your shift?
Q:How do you control gas-station?
Click queued vehicles to fuel them, and use the on-screen controls for restocking, upgrades, statistics, pause, music, and sound effects. Clicking a vehicle again before its fueling bar finishes can correct a wrong-fuel mistake.
Q:What do you do in gas-station?
Grow a roadside station into a large service area by managing fuel, hiring attendants, and opening extra businesses. Along the way, you'll handle random events and keep customer satisfaction from hitting zero.
Q:Does my progress save?
The game autosaves every five seconds, when it moves into the background, and when you close the page. Saves live in your browser's localStorage, so switching devices or clearing browser data loses that progress.
Q:Can I play on my phone?
Yes—use landscape orientation on your phone. Portrait mode automatically pauses the game and displays a prompt.
Q:What causes bankruptcy?
Your business goes bankrupt if satisfaction reaches zero, or if you run out of fuel and can't afford to restock. Bankruptcy automatically clears the save, so that unhappy queue really does matter.
What's happening at the pumps?
11 kinds of vehicle
The queue includes cars, SUVs, police cars, sports cars, flatbed trucks, ambulances, fire engines, cranes, water trucks, cement mixers, and motorcycles. Each has its own side-view silhouette and equipment.
Attendants with plenty to do
Staff automatically handle vehicle calls and fueling, and help serve the side businesses. When you're short-handed, expect them to run around.
More than a fuel stop
Open a convenience store, car wash, and milk tea shop. Each gets random customer visits and needs staff to serve them.
Storms and business curveballs
Eight random business events include promotions, pump failures, inspections, and VIP convoys. Heavy rain brings visible rainfall, lightning, and rain sounds.
A soundtrack that levels with you
Four original background tracks switch as your level changes. The music is synthesized in real time with WebAudio.
Upgrades, then a tougher shift
Upgrading rewards satisfaction and a temporary penalty-free period. After level 10, the difficulty noticeably ramps up.
Why clock in?
Fueling is only the start
Three fuel types, staffing, upgrades, and side businesses give you more to manage than a single pump.
The shift can change fast
Random events put a 16-second timer on decisions, while fueling errors need correcting before the progress bar fills.
