What is Pocket Orchard?

Plant shaped fruit patches, connect matching trees and make room for bees. Play Pocket Orchard, a free original garden packing puzzle.

Pocket Orchard — A little garden. A clever fit.

How to play

Choose one of three patches, rotate it and plant it on the 6×6 garden. The tapped square is the top-left corner of its bounding box. Trees cannot overlap trees or the two hives.

Each tree earns 10 points. Every orthogonal edge between matching fruit adds 8. A tree beside at least one hive adds 15. A connected grove of five or more matching trees adds 30 once per grove. Diagonals do not count.

A garden lasts up to 12 planting rounds. Each successful planting replaces all three offers. If none fits in any rotation, your garden is scored early. There is no timer and no line clearing.

Controls

Tap an offer, then tap a garden square. Use the clockwise arrow or R to rotate; 1/2/3 choose offers, arrow keys move the cursor and Enter plants. P pauses. Keyboard controls stay inside the focused game.

Garden tips

Keep a wide opening for a long patch; a tiny gap may never fit a later shape. Joining two groves can be worth more than squeezing a tree beside a hive. Hover to preview where your patch will land.

Your best score and separate music/sound preferences stay in this browser. A retry uses the same seed; the next-garden button changes it. The first garden follows the UTC date. Refresh starts a new run; no account, downloads or paid boosters are needed.
