Every ingredient has a sound

In Kitchen Jam, pots, bowls and voices become a musical puzzle. Each ingredient adds a repeating part to the kitchen band. Listen to a guest’s order, pick out its layers, and give the matching ingredients to your chefs. The challenge is recognising the combination, not racing a timer or tapping every beat.

How to play

1. Start the game and follow the short introduction. Turn on your sound, then listen to the guest’s musical order.
2. Drag an ingredient onto a chef, or select the ingredient and tap a chef. Add or replace parts to build your version of the tune.
3. Use Listen and Compare to hear the order and your kitchen in turn. When you are ready, Serve the mix and use the match feedback to improve it.
4. Finish the first diner order to unlock Free Jam. Combine ingredients without an order, look for four secret recipes, and share a mix code with a friend.

Mouse, touch and keyboard

• Mouse or touch: drag ingredients to chefs, or tap an ingredient and then a chef. Drag a placed ingredient back to the tray to remove it.
• Keyboard: use the arrow keys to select an ingredient and 1–6 to place it with a chef. L listens, C compares, S serves, H uses a hint, and Esc pauses.
• Use Tab to move between buttons and Enter or Space to activate a focused button. Click or focus the game before using its shortcuts.

Listen one layer at a time

Start with the most distinctive rhythm or voice, then add the quieter parts. You can listen and compare again before serving. Hints are limited; listening and the feedback after serving still let you work out an order when hints run out.

Sound, saving and full screen

Sound starts after you interact with the game. Pause to adjust music and effects. Progress is saved in this browser when storage is available; private browsing or clearing site data may remove it. Full screen depends on browser support, and the standalone link provides another way to play.
